About

Roses by Emory Rosenow

Emory Rosenow is a violinist by profession, currently working as a legal assistant with an immigration law firm. They live in Minneapolis.

Emory holds violin performance degrees from Kansas State, Oklahoma State, and Cleveland State Universities. They previously performed with a number of local Ohio ensembles, including Lima Symphony, Opera Project Columbus, McConnell Arts Center Chamber Orchestra, and Westerville Symphony; in the summers they were a member of the Ohio Light Opera orchestra. Previously they played with Fort Wayne Philharmonic, Tulsa Symphony, and various university ensembles. In addition to established ensembles, they frequently played with temporary ensembles for community theatre, church services, and high school musical productions.

Emory also is an experienced chamber musician, having played with numerous string quartets, trios, and quintets, as well as mixed-instrument ensembles.

Outside of music, Emory enjoys a variety of other activities, from art to zoology (that’s A to Z but cool), and spends a lot of time thinking about The State of the World. Their blog, Thoughts of an Emory Rosenow, reflects these interests. Check back often to see what new topics come up!
