“Socrates is here, but he’s gone off to the neighbor’s porch. He’s standing there and won’t come in even though I called him several times.”

People do not like to think. If one thinks, one must reach conclusions. Conclusions are not always pleasant.

Are you new to thinking? Don’t worry! You’re not alone! It is a great habit to get in to, though. I would recommend starting out with only five minutes per day, and then you can gradually work up from there. You’ll be thinking for whole hours at a time before you know it! And, if you’re already used to thinking, this blog may provide you some extra angles from which to approach things. Where’s the fun in always thinking about things the same way as you’ve already thought about them? BORING. Thoughts of an Emory Rosenow is all about fun, so that you can have fun thoughts too!
